Literary structure (chiasmus, chiasm) of Acts of the Apostles

Chiasmus and Concentric Structure of divided by 2

This central pericope (no. 25, Acts 12:1-24) also becomes the divisional fulcrum of the whole text. Those parts that precede it (pericopes nos. 1 to 25) and follow it (pericopes nos. 25 to 49) constitute concentric structures composed of pericopes. Within those two concentric structures, the former is about ministry of Peter and the latter is about ministry of Paul. Therefore, these structures would divide two era of ministry.
