Literary structure (chiasmus, chiasm) of Gospel of John

Chiasmus and Concentric Structure of divided by 3

When the whole text is divided in three equivalent pericopes, three concentric structures appear. Three centers in divided in three structures are "Healing the Official's Son" (no. 14, John 4:46-54), "Jesus raises Lazarus to life" (no. 41, John 11:38-44), "Jesus sentenced to death" (no. 68, John 18:38c-19:16a). The common included theme is the death (and resurrection).
